KATHMANDU: Despite the rain, Buddhist devotees circumambulated Boudha Stupa under umbrellas on Saturday, the final day of the Saka Dawa Festival, expressing faith, compassion and devotion.
Saka Dawa is one of the most sacred Buddhist festivals, commemorating the birth, enlightenment and parinirvana of Lord Buddha. The month is marked by prayer, generosity and acts of kindness.
