In Pictures: Shree Panchami festival being observed today

The festival is celebrated by worshipping Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, learning, art, music, and culture.

Educational institutions organise worship programmes to pay homage to the goddess of knowledge.

The festival marks the onset of spring.
