Aditya Subedi won the U-12 boys’ singles title of the 10th LA-JTI Inter-school Junior Open Tennis Tournament here at the Little Angels’ School courts today.

Aksharaa School’s Subedi defeated Nischal Adhikari of Nepal Police School 6-2, 6-2 in the final.

Similarly, Prasamsha Moktan of Premier International School won the U-10 girls’ singles title with a 6-4, 6-4 win against

Ibha Adhikari of St Mary’s. Moktan had also won the U-9 girls’ singles title.

In the U-10 boys’ semi-final matches, Pranav Manandhar of Kasthamandap saw off Ayushman Hajur Ghale of John Dewey 6-1, 6-2 and Prasiddha Basnet of NPS defeated Rajbir Pradhan of Central School 6-2, 2-6, 10-8.

On Tuesday, Adit Subedi of St Xavier’s will face Samyak Bhushan Bajracharya of Shuvatara in the U-14 boys’ singles final, while Saloni Tamang of LA will take on Rayana Shah of Ace in the U-14 girls’ singles final.
