KATHMANDU: Ashim Sherchan of Kaski and Ramesh Bhattachan of Swoyambhu Recreation Centre advanced to the men’s individual recurve category final of the Laxman Shrestha Memorial fourth National Indoor Archery Tournament here at the National Sports Council covered hall on Monday.

Sherchan beat Prem Prasad Pun of Swoyambhu and Bhattachan defeated Tilak Pun Magar of Nepal Police Club.

In the women’s category, TAC’s Anu Awale beat Rajya Laxmi Joshi of Annapurna Club, while Annapurna’s Rashmi Darlami defeated TAC’s Ayasha Tamang to advance to the final.

In the men’s individual compound section, Sanatan Malla of Rajdhani and Hom Bahadur Thapa of Kanchanpur advanced to the final.
