Bhairahawa enter final

Region 2 Bhairahawa, secured five points from three matches and entered the final of the Birendra Memorial National League Cricket Tournament being organised here by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) under the sponsorship of Grokha Brewery.

Bhairahawa won two matches, while Both in the match against Biratnagar they had to share a point each as overnight heavy rain cancelled Tuesday’s match to be held at the Tribhuvan University (TU) ground. Bhairahawa scored four points from two matches defeating Region 2 Birgunj by five wickets on May 13 and Nepalgunj by 42 runs on May 11. Bhairahawa still have a match to play against Kathmandu.

On Wednesday, Kathmandu will play against Biratnagar which is a must-win match for them. Kathmandu have two points, while Biratnagar have three points fro two matches. Kathmandu defeated Nepalgunj by nine wickets in the inaugural match on May 8, while they lost to Birgunj by 80 runs on May 9. Nepalgunj are already out of the tournament with no win, while Birgunj have earned four points with two wins.
