TANAHUN: Dinesh Singh Bogati won the title of the 20th Sachin Memorial Open Race here on Sunday. Bogati finished the 9km race in 29 minutes and 30 seconds.
Sanam Gurung finished second with the timing of 30:10, while Bikesh Ghimire was third on 30:42.
Top three athletes received Rs 14,000, Rs 12,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively. Anil Majkoti won the consolation prize of Rs 2,000. Sushmita Rana came first among women athletes and she received Rs 2,000.
The youngest runner to complete the race, Kirtik Gharti also earned Rs 2,000. A total of 88 athletes took part in the event organised by Rotaract Club. CDO Chhabi Lal Rijal handed over the prizes to the winners.
