Both teams triumph

Both team of Nepal recorded victories in the South Asia Regional Qualifying event for ITF Asian U-12 and Team Championship here at the Satdobato Tennis Complex today.
In girls' section, Nepal beat Bhutan 3-0. Azaa Regmi defeated Karma Yuden Dorji 6-1, 6-3 and Subhangee Laxmi Shah saw off Tenzin Wangsel Lhaden 6-1, 6-0 in singles events. In doubles section, Shah teamed up with Aisha Dolker Gurung to beat the pair of Karma Yuden Dorji and Kuenga Palmo.
Similarly, India defeated Sri Lanka 3-0. In boys' category, Nepal beat Pakistan 2-1. In singles events, Aki Zuben Rawan beat Bilal Asim 6-2, 6-2 before Aarav Samrat Hada lost 6-2, 6-3 against Hamid Israr. In doubles section, Rawat and Hada defeated Bilal Asim and Muhammad Huzaifa Khan 6-0, 6-1.
In other matches, India thrashed Sri Lanka and Bhutan with the identical scores of 3-0.
