LALITPUR: Nepal Boxing Association on Monday organised an event to teach basics of the boxing to the students of GEMS School.

NBA’s honorary President Bishnu Gopal Shrestha, President Ram Awale, coach Prakash Thapa Magar, boxer Deepak Maharjan and School Boxing Commission’s Puskar Raj Pant taught about basics to the students, while Kazakhstan’s boxing coach Mukhtar Berdim Betov, who is here to train Nepali boxers, showed the skills to them.

NBA has started school boxing programmes to produce boxers from school level.
