CAN names U-17 squad

Cricket Association of Nepal announced the 14-member squad to take part in the forthcoming Under-17 Asia Cup to be held in India from January 13.
As per the release issued by CAN of Friday, Paras Khadka will lead the team with Sarad Vesawkar his deputy. Others selected include Raj Shrestha, Bantu Bataju, Mahesh Chhetri, Deepak Shrestha, Irfan Siddiqui, Diwas Thakuri, Amrit Pokhrel, Dhan bahadur Chhetri, Pawan Das, Sunil Bista, Antim Thapa and Angel Acharya.
Rabi Thapa, Susan Man Shrestha, Amit Alok and Nasir Ansari ar the four substitute players. Amrit Shumsher Rana is the team manager of the squad, while Lekh bahadur Chhetri is the assistant manager.
Roy Luke Dias is the coach, while Samson Jung Thapa is named his deputy. Umpire Sirish Kumar Upadhyaya will also be with the team.
The players, who were in the second-round camp, were selected by the National Selection Committee under Sushil Chaugain.
