DAMAULI: Bhimad Youth Club ‘B’ and Friendship Youth Club registered victories in the Bhimad Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament here on Thursday.

Bhimad thrashed Mildanda Youth Club 7-0 riding on four goals from Shiva Subedi, a

brace from Subas Gurung and goal from Siddharth Ranjit.

In another match, solitary goal from Sangam Thakuri was enough for Friendship for a 1-0 victory over Janasewa Youth Club. Shiva Subedi of Bhimad and Bhupal Ghale of Jana Sewa received man-of-the-match awards.

A total of 16 teams are participating in the tournament.
