LALITPUR: St Xavier's Godavari School and Maya Universe Academy advanced to the final of the 25th Father Moran Memorial Primary School Invitational Football Tournament here at the SXG grounds on Saturday.
Hosts SXG defeated Modern Indian School 2-0 in first semi-final match.
Sandesh Tudu scored both goals for the home team and he was later named the player of the match. In another match, Maya Universe outplayed Nepal Don Bosco School 4-1.
Player-of-the-match Bibek Pariyar scored a brace, while Suprim Magar and Ebash BK netted one goal each for Maya Universe. Suresh Tamang scored the consolation goal for Don Bosco. Third-place playoff and final matches are slated for Monday.
