DAMAULI: Ashok Gharti finished first in the 3-km race organised by Janajukta Shahi Higher Secondary School here on Sunday.

Gharti completed the distance in 10 minutes and 17 seconds to finish ahead of Suraj Rana and Sunil Gharti.

Top three finishers received educational materials, informed sports coordinator Sharad Raj Khanal.

The race was organised to mark the 41st anniversary of the school.
