KATHMANDU: Nepal national team golfer Sadbhav Acharya received an invitation to attend the AAC Academy organised by the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship in Thailand next month.

The Executive Committee of the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship - represented by The R&A, the Masters Tournament and the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) - invited Acharya for the special training at the Amata Spring from June 11- 16. According to the AAC, the team of experts in coaching, sports science, fitness and other areas will deliver sessions to the players in the AAC Academy, which is organised to enhance the abilities, skills and prepare golfers for the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship slated for October 26-29 at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club. Acharya and Nepal No 1 amateur golfer Subash Tamang will take part in the tournament.

Tamang attended the AAC Academy in Melbourne from May 15-19.
