BHAIRAHAWA: Horizon College of Butwal won the title of the third Sai Global T20 Inter-college Cricket Tournament here at the Siddhartha Stadium on Monday.

Horizon defeated Sai Global ‘B’ by 41 runs in final. Opting to bat first, Horizon scored 153-7 before packing Sai Global for 112 in 18 overs. Bishal Khatri scored 45 runs and Nirmal Thapa contributed 40 runs for Horizon. In reply, Sai Global fell cheaply as Nischal Chaudhary top scored with 28 runs and Sandeep Sundar added 27 runs. Player-of-the-final Ganesh Gaudel claimed five wickets for Horizon.

Champions Horizon got Rs 39,000 and Sai Global received Rs 25,000. Sai Global’s Sandeep Sunar was named the best player of the tournament.
