KATHMANDU: Innovative and Southsiders won their matches of the Morgan Cup National Club-level Basketball Tournament here on Friday. Innovative defeated Baba 80-74 for their second win of the tournament. Ajay Manandhar of Innovative top scored in the match with 20 points. In another men’s section match played at the National Sports Council covered hall, Southsiders hammered Xavier International 74-48 riding on Bijay Burja’s 15 points. In women’s section, Prime Club registered a thrashing 61-8 victory over Rupandehi riding on Sneha Shrestha’s 18 points, while White House defeated hosts Morgan 56-27 with Anusha Malla netting 16 points for the winning side.
