LALITPUR: The IOC Olympic Solidarity Course of weightlifting began here at the International Sports Complex on Thursday. A total of 35 coaches from 16 districts are participating in the course organised by Nepal Weightlifting Association under the auspices of Nepal Olympic Committee. Alamsyah Wijaya of Indonesia, an expert from the International Weightlifting Federation, is conducting the course which deals with biomechanics, nutrition, training style, office management and revised rules of the sport. Olympian Surendra Hamal inaugurated the four-day course.
