Kathmandu, November 6:

Gyanendra Armed Police Force (APF) Officers’ Club is organising the third Nationwide Krishna Mohan Memorial Open Badminton Championship from November 22-25.

The tournament, an annual event organised in memory of Inspector General of APF Krishna Mohan Shrestha, features seven events — men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, Under-19 boys and girls, veteran doubles and mixed doubles.

The total prize money, including souvenirs for the veteran doubles section winners, is Rs 251,000. The organisers also said they will provide Rs 500 each to the participants from outside the valley.
