White House win :

KATHMANDU: Himalayan White House beat Samakhusi Youth Club (SYC) 53-38 in the first LG League Basketball League Championship here today. White House took the massive lead in the first two quarters 9-3, 24-6 and though SYC led the last two quarters it was’nt enough to avoid their defeat. Robin Maharjan top scored with 11 points for White House while Sadish Pradhan netted 13 for the SYC. — HNS

Football tourney :

LALITPUR: Spain Team and Baptist Church entered the final of the Spain-Nepal Invitational Football Tournament here today. Spain Team beat Patan Church 4-3 in tie-breaker after playing a 2-2 draw. In another semi-final, Baptist Church edged past Salang Church 1-0. Dipak Rupacha scored the decisive goal for Baptist Church. — HNS
