Madan Bhandari Cricket Academy
KATHMANDU: Former Speaker of Constituent Assembly Subash Chandra Nembang inaugurated the Madan Bhandari Cricket Academy, established by Madan Bhandari Sports Academy, in Baneshwor on Monday.
The academy, which has three practice pitches, was constructed in a two-ropani land at the cost of two million rupees.
Nembang faced three deliveries bowled by Nepal national cricket team head coach Jagat Tamatta during the inauguration ceremony.
Academy has appointed national team cricketer Pradeep Airee as a coach. Madan Bhandari Sports Academy — which is celebrating it's ninth anniversary — also honoured Nepal wheelchair national cricket team with Rs 50,000 for winning the first International Wheelchair Cricket Tournament held in Nepal last month.
