DHARAN: Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) advanced to the final of the 18th International Invitational Budha Subba Red Bull Gold Cup Football Tournament with a 3-2 win over defending champions Nepal APF Club here on Wednesday. In the match played at the ANFA Technical Centre, Afeez Olawale, Anil Gurung and Ananta Tamang scored for MMC, while Ramesh Dangal and Anjan Bista scored for APF. Olawale provided the lead to MMC in the first minute through a header in Heman Gurung’s corner, while APF levelled the scores through Dangal’s goal in the eighth minute. Bista put APF ahead in the 13th minute before Gurung scored the equaliser in the 26th minute. National team defender Tamang then sealed the victory for MMC in the 65th minute.
