LALITPUR: National women's team skipper Renuka Nagarkote was injured during a training session at the ANFA Complex on Monday.

Nagarkote broke her clavicle collarbone while landing after she collided with Saraswoti Ayer.

The Nepal APF Club skipper was rushed to nearby B&B Hospital and doctors have advised her to undergo surgery, according to the All Nepal Football Association. The national team is preparing for the Asian Games.

Nepal is also hosting the Women's SAFF Championship from August 29 to September 10.
