SALLERI: The Nepali martial arts team has won two gold medals and three silvers in the World Martial Peace Cup 2017 held recently in Morocco.

Team member Arjun Rokka of Solukhumbu bagged two gold medals while another member Sanju Maharjan clinched two silver medals. Likewise, it was Dawang Keshang Lama who won one more silver in the tournament organised by the Martial Self defence International Association Portugal, said Nepal Martial Self Defence Association (NMSDA) central chair DB Ranapal from Morocco.

The seven-member team comprising chair Ranapal, and first vice chair Nutan Shrestha is returning home from Morocco tomorrow.
