KATHMANDU: Amisha Karki scored a hat-trick as Nepal outplayed Bhutan 4-0 in the SAFF U-20 Women's Championship at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday.
Karki opened the scoring in the 19th minute and doubled the tally in the second minute of the first half injury time. Skipper Preeti Rai made it 3-0 in the 61st minute before Karki completed her hat-trick two minutes later.
Nepal had faced a 3-1 defeat at the hands of hosts Bangladesh in the opening day match, while India had hammered Bhutan 12-0.
A total of four teams are taking part in the tournament and top two after league round will advance to the final. Nepal will face India in their third and final match of the league on February 7.
