Nepal, Bangladesh to play two friendlies

KATHMANDU: Nepal's national football team will play two friendly matches against Bangladesh on July 15 and 17, according to All Nepal Football Association (ANFA).

Bangladesh will host both the FIFA ‘A’ friendly matches. The venue, however, is yet to be decided, ANFA said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to ANFA, it would engage the national team in as many friendlies as possible to fine tune Nepal's preparations for the AFC Solidarity Cup, scheduled for November 2-15.

This is the third friendly match for Nepal this year. Earlier, the Nepali national team had played against Malaysia U-22 and Laos National team (FIFA). Nepal had drawn both the matches 1-1.

In the statement, ANFA said the Nepali national team had been training everyday for the last one month for possible friendly matches.
