Kathmandu, April 22

Jumanu Rai struck a hat-trick to steer Nepal Police Club (NPC) into the final of the second Pepsi International Seven-A-Side Football Tournament with a narrow 3-2 win over the hosts Seven-A-Side Federation here today.

The hosts rallied twice in the 50-minute game before Rai scored the winner five minutes into the added time. Rai put NPC ahead in the 11th minute but Anil Ojha levelled the scores in the 21st minute. Rai again provided the lead in the 35th before Vijay Gurung equalised for minutes later extending the match for further 10 minutes.

NPC will play for the championship with the winners of second semi-final match between Manang Marshyangi Club and New Road Team. The final is slated for Saturday.
