Moktan beats Thapa in final

Prasamsa Moktan won the title of the girls’ U-9 category of the fourth Nepal Open Junior Lawn Tennis Championship here at the Satdobato Tennis Complex today.
Moktan defeated Sunira Thapa 4-1, 4-2 in the final. Rajbir Pradhan and Saksham B Shah made it to the boys’ section final. Pradhan defeated Shiven Maharjan 4-0, 4-1, while Shah beat Manthan Joshi 4-0, 4-2 in the semi-final matches.
Rayana Shah and Sharvani Shrestha advanced to the U-12 section final. Shah beat Isha Shree Shah 6-1, 6-2, while Shrestha defeated Aisha D Gurung 6-0, 6-0. In U-14 category, Saloni Tamang, Isha Shree Shah, Abhilasha Bista and Rayana Shah made it to the semi-finals. Saloni defeated Lumu Tso Lama 6-1, 6-1, Isha Shree beat Sneha Yadav 6-2, 6-3, Abhilasha outplayed Sharvani Shrestha 6-1, 6-2, and Rayana Shah bagged a double bagel against Pravani Pradhan.
In U-14 boys’ singles, Samyak Bajracharya defeated Aaditya Subedi 6-1, 7-6, while Aadit Subedi outplayed Kube H Chaemjong 6-1, 6-0 to advance to the final. Aryan Giri made it to the U-12 boys’ singles final with a 7-6 (5), 6-3 victory over Aaditya Subedi and will face Nischal Adhikari, who beat Chirag Timilsina 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
Likewise, Aarav Samrat Hada defeated Saroj Tamang 6-1, 6-0 and Pranav Manandhar beat Aayushman H Ghale 6-3, 6-2 in the boys’ U-10 singles semi-final matches. In the U-18 boys’ semi-final match, Samrakshyak Bhushan Bajracharya registered a double bagel against Evyak Joshi.
