Singh, Dang advance

Prinkle Singh of India and Yiming Dang of China advanced to the girls’ singles semi-finals of the Nepal ITF Juniors U-18 Tournament Circuit-II here today.
Singh defeated Mayanka Rana of Nepal 6-1, 6-7(4), 7-5, while Ding beat India’s Trisha Vinod 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 in the quarter-finals matches at the Satdobato Tennis Complex courts. Nepal’s challenge is over in the tournament as Rana was the lone player in the quarter-final.
In other quarter-final matches, Hong Kong’s Chui Kei Leung beat India’s Hrudaya Shah 6-4, 6-0, while Japan’s Mio Kozaki outplayed another Indian player Sanya Singh 6-1, 6-1.
In boys’ singles, South Korea’s Jiho Lee defeated India’s Naithaolin Calvin Golmei 0-6, 6-3, 6-4, Malaysia’s Jian Keong Takeshi Koey beat Japan’s Keiju Miyake 7-6 (2), 6-3, Japan’s Daisuke Inagawa saw off India’s Aaryan Zaveri 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, and Japan’s Taisei Kageyama beat China’s Wenmao Li 6-4, 6-1.
The Indian pair of Naithaolin Calvin Golmei and Shashi Kanta Rajput advanced to the boys’ doubles final and they will face India’s Anurag Agrawal and Poland’s Michal Wargocki. In girls’ doubles, Yiming Dang of China and Manami Ukita of Japan made it to the final.
