TANAHUN: Dobhan 'A', 39 GTC, Ganya FC and All Star Youth Club advanced to the semi-finals of the first Rajendra Memorial Cup Open Men's Football Tournament here on Wednesday.
Dobhan 'A' defeated Friends FC 1-0; Ganya outplayed Dobhan 'B' 4-1; 39 GTC edged past Dobhan 'C' 1-0; and All Star beat Hairans Youth Club 1-0 in the day's quarter-finals.
Yogesh Gurung of Dobhan 'A', Anish Tamang of Ganya, Bishal Shahi of 39 GTC and Lakshu Thapa of All Star won the player-ofthe-match awards.
On Thursday, Dobhan 'A' will face 39 GTC, while Ganya take on All Star in semi-finals.
The final is also slated for Thursday.
Top two teams will receive Rs 205,555 and Rs 115,555 respectively.
