KATHMANDU: Saipal, Ideal, Whitehouse and Times College topped their respective groups and advance to the quarter-finals of the Alfa Beta Inter-college Futsal Tournament here at the Sankhamul Futsal on Thursday.

Saipal defeated Uniglobe 5-0 to win three matches and finished as Group A  winners, while Kanjirowa beat Liverpool 3-1 and finished as group  runners-up.

Similarly, Ideal and Olympia played a goalless draw and  finished as group winners and runners-up respectively after collecting  seven points each.

In Group C, Whitehouse outplayed British College 3-1  and finished as group winners with three victories, while Inside Vision beat Whitefield 4-0 and became group runners-up.

In Group D, Times beat  Ullens 7-2 and Golden Gate 2-0 to top the group, while Golden Gate  became runners-up to advance to the last eight.
