KATHMANDU: Trinity, CCRC, Times and Golden Gate advanced to the boys’ semi-finals of the second Rosebud Valleywide Inter-college Basketball Tournament here on Friday.

In the quarter-final matches, Trinity defeated New Summit 45-36 riding on Saroj Tamang’s 19 points. Ashish Basnet and Subhung Rai contributed 13 points each in CCRC’s 41-31 win over Morgan, while Times beat hosts Rosebud 40-31 riding on Sujan Limbu’s 26 points.

Golden Gate outplayed Xavier International 44-43 as Abhishek Singh contributed 17 points for the winning team.
