KATHMANDU: National Sports Council on Thursday formed the secretariat for the eighth National Games to be held in Mid-western Region next year.

NSC Treasurer Surendra Hamal, who hails from Nepalgunj, is the convenor of the six-member secretariat, which will be responsible for the evaluation and inspection of the preparation works for the Games.

NSC Members Shanti Singh and Binod Mainali, NSC Press Advisory Rohit Kumar Dahal, President of Mid-western Regional Sports Development Committee Bhim Oli are the members, while NSC Administration Department chief Indra Bahadur Karki is the secretary.
