OKHALDHUNGA: National Paralympic Committee, Nepal Spinal Cord Injury Sports Association and National Physically Disabled Table Tennis Association are jointly organising wheelchair basketball, cricket and table tennis in Rumjatar from Thursday.

A total of four men and two women’s teams will compete in basketball, while two men’s teams will take part in cricket. Similarly, 16 teams, including eight in women’s section, will take part in table tennis competition.  According to the organisers, the events are being held to raise awareness that physically disabled people are also capable of playing sports.
