Sri Lanka bowl first against England at World T20

NEW DELHI: Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews won the toss Saturday and opted to bowl against England in their World Twenty20 Group 1 game.

Defending champion Sri Lanka, which needs to win to remain in contention, replaced Nuwan Kulasekara with Dasun Shanaka.

England brought in fit-again Alex Hales for James Vince as it looks for a third win that will ensure a semifinal berth.

England lost to group leader West Indies but has beaten South Africa and Afghanistan.

Sri Lanka lost to the West Indies but beat Afghanistan. Its final game will be against South Africa, which is the third contender for the second slot from the group.

The West Indies is already through with three straight wins and a game to go against Afghanistan on Sunday.
