DHANGADHI: Ayush Shrestha scored a hat-trick as Sudurpashchim-XI outplayed Nepal Police Club 4-0 and advanced to the semi-finals of the Sudurpashchim Chief Minister Khaptad Gold Cup here at the Dhangadhi Stadium on Tuesday.
Swami Hardik opened the scoring in the fourth minute for the hosts before Shrestha stole the limelight.
Shrestha doubled the tally in the 30th minute and he scored his second goal in the 51st minute and completed his hat-trick in the 63rd minute. Shrestha was named the player of the match and he received Rs 10,000.
On Wednesday, defending champions Manang Marshyangdi Club will play against Avenir FC in the first semi-final match.
