Sumina Shrestha gave Nepal the first medal in badminton at the 10th South Asian Games in Colombo today. Sumina won the bronze medal after BR Minakshi of India outplayed her 21-9, 21-1 in the semi-final. Sumina had entered the last four after defeating Sri Lankan opponent Nadisa Jayanti in quarter-final on Wednesday. Football and Badminton was staged prior to the Friday’s official inauguration. —
