Surya Nepal has long been contributing in the development of golf in Nepal, and not only has this created more opportunities for golfers to compete, but has also helped improve the standards of golf in Nepal.

This accomplishment has inspired Surya Nepal to reiterate its commitment and enhance support to make the standard of the game grow further. From 2008, Surya Nepal together with Nepal Professional Golfers Association (NPGA) have agreed upon starting the Professional Golf Tour circuit in the country.

Top pros and amateurs await for the next chapter of Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2008 — Golfer Pilot’s NPGA Classic. This Pro-Am event is scheduled for May 24-27 at Le Meridien Gokarna Golf Resort and will be played over four days, with additional rounds at Royal Nepal Golf Club and Tribhuvan Army Officers’ Club.

Last week’s Surya Nepal Central Open winner Shiva Ram Shrestha is looking ahead to secure another back-to-back victory.
