LALITPUR: Satdobato Youth Club defeated Around The Himalaya Bansbari Club 4-1 to restore the threepoint lead in the Martyrs Memorial B Division League here at the ANFA Complex grounds on Friday.
Ashim Rai, Prabesh Basnet and Dinesh Rai scored one goal each for Satdobato, who were also gifted with an own goal from Amrit Shrestha. Nishan Sunar scored the consolation goal for Bansbari.
With the win, Satdobato, who are the lone unbeaten side of the league, accumulated 25 points from nine matches and opened up three-point lead over Khumaltar Youth Club. Satdobato are one win away from promotion to the top flight. In another match, Madhyapur Youth Club beat Pulchowk Sports Club 3-2.
Skipper Dhiraj Shrestha scored a brace in the 33rd and 67th minutes but he was sent off in the first minute of the injury time for second yellow card. In between, Madhyapur got a goal through an own goal from Yam Bahadur Shrestha. Kismat Limbu and Shyrab Lo Tamang scored for Pulchok. With their third win, MYA accumulated 10 points, while Pulchok are at the bottom of the 12-team table with two points.
