KATHMANDU: Ritij Raj Joshi and Diskhya Tamang won the U-16 titles at the sixth Krishnadhoj Memorial Nationwide Table Tennis Tournament here on Monday.

Joshi defeated Nikesh Maharjan 12-10, 11-3, 11-9, while Tamang beat Sarina Adhikari 11-2, 11-3, 11-2 in finals. In U-14 girls’ final, Anushka Prasai beat Shikha Suwal 11-8, 11-8, 10-12, 12-10, while Aashish Sharma defeated Diken Maharjan 10-12, 11-6, 11-8, 11-5 in boys’ final.

Prime won the men’s team event in college section beating Morgan 3-0, while Maharjan siblings Elina and Erica won women’s doubles title with a 11-7, 11-7, 13-11 win over Sujata Duwal and Manju Suwal.
