HETAUDA: Tribhuvan Army Club and Far-western Region advanced to the men’s section semi-finals of the National Hockey Tournament on Tuesday.

TAC defeated Mid-western Region 4-0 riding on two goals each from Devendra Dhami and Dipendra Airee.

Similarly, Far-western saw off Western 2-0 in which Dipraj Joshi and Rajesh Bista scored a goal each. In women’s category, defending champions TAC defeated Eastern 6-0.

Sita Maya Oli scored four goals alone, while Pinki Sinjali and Sancha Maya Khapangi added a goal each for TAC.

Likewise, Madhu Kumari Sarraf scored the solitary goal as Western beat Far-western 1-0.
