LALITPUR: Sushma Tamang of Naxal earned berth in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championship. Tamang defeated Ramila Shrestha of RDS Club in the final of the 48kg qualifying event on Tuesday.
In the 60kg category, Dechen Sherpa of Kathmandu beat Susmita Rai of Jhapa to enter the final. Sherpa will face Sumina Khadka of RDS Club in Wednesday's final.
Khadka made it to the final with a bye. The two Nepali boxers will take part in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championship slated for April 11-23 in Poland.
