KATHMANDU: A five-member Nepali tennis team on Saturday left for Bangladesh to participate in the South East and East Asia qualifiers of the ITF Asia U-14 Development Championship to be held in Dhaka from January 9-19.
Darshil Shrestha, Nishad Joshi, Shivali Gurung and Swastika Bista will take part in the singles and team events in the championship.
Coach Kanchha Khadge accompanied the players to Bangladesh.
Players from 16 countries will take part in the event. Nepal Tennis Association President Jyoti Rana bade farewell to the team.
