KATHMANDU: Kakhara Pre-school on Saturday felicitated the 13th South Asian Games gold medal winning athlete Santoshi Shrestha during the annual sports day.
Kakhara Preschool Managing Director Umanath Niraula and Principal Nisha Ghimire handed over cash, felicitation letter and memento to Shrestha, who won gold in 10,000m race in the 13th SA Games at the Dasharath Stadium in 2019 December.
Shrestha also distributed prizes to the winners of the sports day.
Kakhara had in the past honoured legendary athletes Baikuntha Manandhar and Jit Bahadur KC.
