POKHARA: Nepal APF Club advanced to the women's section final of the first Tiger Cup Invitational National Club Volleyball Championship here on Friday.
APF defeated New Diamond Academy 25-21, 25-21, 25-23 in the last league match. After both the teams accumulated five points in the league round, APF made it to the final on more set wins than NDA.
APF will face fellow departmental side Nepal Police Club, who had already made it to the final with six points. In Men's section, Tribhuvan Army Club and Gandaki Province entered the final after they earned six points each in the league round.
TAC defeated NPC 26-24, 25-22, 25- 14, while Gandaki beat APF 25-21, 29- 27, 25-14. Both the finals are slated for Saturday.
