Two wins for India

KATHMANDU: India defeated both Nepal and Sri Lanka by the identical 3-0 margin on the inaugural day matches of the Regional Under-16 Boys’ Team Events Badminton Championships here on Friday. Nepal, India and Sri Lanka are taking part in the tournament, which is being played in round-robin format. The tournament will end on Saturday. Earlier, Princess Shova inaugurated the event. — HNS
