KATHMANDU: Times College defeated GEMS 1-0 and won the title of the KEBS Cup Inter-college Six-a-side Football Tournament here on Sunday.

Anish Karki scored the solitary goal of the match. The winners and runners-up got Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively. Similarly, Ideal saw off Bits Academy 3-1 to finish third.

Times’ Anish Karki was named the best striker, while his teammate Santosh Mahat was adjudged the best goalkeeper. Ideal’s Sagar Tamang and GEMS’ Bhupen Rajkoti were declared the best defender and midfielder respectively.
