PALPA: Udaypur thrashed Chitwan 5-0 in the ANFA Women’s League Football Championship in Palpa on Friday.

Srijana Chemjong scored a hat-trick, while Reshma Khatri and Saraswoti Chaudhary netted one each for Udaypur.

In another match, Taplejung overwhelmed Sindhuli 8-0. Gita Rana completed a hat-trick, while Anita Basnet and Rekha Limbu scored two each and Anushka Sherpa netted one for the winners.

The match between Sindhupalchowk and Saptari ended in a goalless draw.

In the matches played in Syangja, Pappu Suruchi scored a hat-trick as Ilam outplayed Nuwakot 6-0 and Tara Thing scored five goals alone as Bara hammered Dhanusha 8-0, whereas the match between Morang and Bardiya was called off due to rain.
