POKHARA: Disabled Sports Committee of Kaski and Independent Living Society, Nepal are jointly organising the fifth Vibor National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament here at the Pokhara Stadium from May 3-4.
A total of six teams — four teams from Kathmandu and one each from Chitwan and Pokhara — will compete in the tournament, informed Bharat Bikram Baniya, President of Disabled Sports Committee of Kaski at a press meet here on Wednesday. The tournament will be played in league-cum-knockout format.
The top three teams will receive Rs 20,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. The estimated budget of the tournament is Rs 500,000.
