RAMECHHAP: Mid-western Region, Manthali United Society, Shantidip Youth Club and Democratic Sports Association advanced to the semi-finals of the Ramechhap Civil Championship third National Men’s Volleyball Tournament here on Friday.

In the quarter-final matches, Mid-western defeated Central Region 3-0, while Manthali United thrashed Himganga Youth Club by the same scoreline.

Likewise, Shantidip beat Eastern Region 3-1 and Democratic Sports defeated Namunadip Youth Club 3-2. The semi-finals and final are slated for Saturday. Top two teams will earn Rs 150,000 and Rs 100,000 respectively. — HNS
