SYANGJA: Avenir Football Club advanced to the final of the Waling Gold Cup here on Thursday.
The Cameroon-based Avenir defeated Waling FC (junior) 2-0 in the second semi-final match. Timba and Shaba scored one goal each for Avenir. Shaba was adjudged the player of the match.
Avenir will face Waling FC (senior) in final on Saturday.
Top two teams will receive Rs 500,000 and Rs 250,000 respectively.
