KATHMANDU: The WBC Muay Thai Nepal is organising the National Championship here on Saturday.

The championship features a total of 11 events - five main fights and six other fights, informed the WBCMT Nepal President Raju Rai in a press release.

Karishma Karki and Teji Maya Gurung will be the attraction of the day as they will fight it out to become the national champion in female flyweight division. The winner will earn Rs 80,000 and the runner-up will get Rs 24,000.

In the co-main event, Santosh Khatri will fight against Sonam Tsering Sherpa, with the winner and loser earning WBCMT medals along with Rs 30,000 and Rs 15000 respectively.

In other fights in the professional card, Borthung Rai will take on Milan Tamang in welterweight division, Badakazi Thapa will fight against Karan Thapa in lightweight division, and Gyanendra Singh will face Shirish Bhuju in bantamweight division. Winners will receive Rs 20,000, while the losers will get Rs 10,000.
